Problem: If you're having trouble displaying your computer onto your tv screen, run through the following checklist first:
  • Make sure your computer, TV, & VCR are on. You can confirm the VCR is on when the letters "VCR" appear next to the time display.
  • TV on channel 3
  • VCR set to "Video 2". Use the "Channel up & down" buttons on the front of the VCR.
  • VCR's "TV/VCR" button is on
  • Cable from front of VCR is plugged snuggly into the "Video Input" slot & plugged snuggly into "comp video" slot on back of "TView" box (not everyone will have a TView box)

If the above steps don't help and you're still having trouble projecting your computer onto your screen or displaying onto your tv screen, you'll need to go into more advanced settings:

MS Word 2002

Problem: Have you ever opened up MS Word to create a new document, but you notice that before you can even begin, it's already a mess with the wrong text size, color, italics turned on, and various other formatting issues that are different than what it should be? Then you realize that you must reset everything to its proper settings each time you start a new document. What a pain!

Solution: If you see this happening on your computer, the "normal.dot" template in Word has been changed and you need to change it back to default settings. Click here and follow these easy steps to get Word back to its original settings.
