Hello! We have moved to a one page version of news now. I am hoping this will be an easier chore for me. And if I decide I do not like it, well we'll try something else. But for the time being this is where you can find our newest info.

So, what's new? It's summer in Texas, although it isn't feeling very hot at the moment. Too much rain and not enough sun pretty much sums it up.  Here's a quick catch up for some of you. Jonathan is now working at CPS in Greenville. He is into his second year now and has applied for a different position. I don't think he has heard back about it, but we're waiting. He is still working at Henly's mobile company on Saturdays for commissions and we're back at the City Shelter on Sundays. Yeah, we stay fairly busy!

Caden is on Jonathan's company insurance. Some of you were apprised of that situation. He is now covered and so far it seems worth it. Speaking of Caden, he is doing well. Loving his summer vacation. He'll start second grade come fall (yeah I know I'm old..) He was able to spend some time with Grandma (Jonathan's mom) back in March during spring break. Jonathan and I went on a couples vacation in Wimberly. We stayed at a most wonderful B&B there, ate tasty food, and shopped til we dropped. Oh and we found some time to relax in between.

As for me, nothing much new in that department. I am still living it up at home, content to an easy life (more or less haha). We are planning a second trip for August. We're looking at the Texas coast, but have yet to decide where and when. Caden will be going with us as I think he'll enjoy the beach. I know I did when young, so I'd like him to experience that.

We've been working on our house repairing floors. We laid new flooring in our bedroom closet and re-carpeted. Let me tell you how much fun that was! It only took a day, so I can't complain and it looks nice now. Just the other day we repaired a warped spot in front of the kitchen sink (due to a water leak). Homeowners know it's always something, huh? We still have to reseal the roof and repair a few spots on the ceiling, but other than that we're finally about finsished. We do have our house up for sale again and are pushing it for this summer. Maybe THIS will be our year! We've already found a house we want. At this point, we're planning to keep the land here and re-finance it after purchasing a new place. I'd like to keep it as insurance *just in case*.  Besides, we only have ohhh 13 more years to pay it off! hahaha

I guess that is pretty much it in a nutshell. I'll try to update as we get more!
